We are at the dawn of a Digital Renaissance. With the launch of the iPhone and its Developer Kit, the field of program and development is now easily accessible to students. Elchemi Education’s vision is to provide an immersive and comprehensive program that will not just teach your students how to code their own applications, but to see it through from initial conceptualization to design, coding to marketing of the application.

Objective

AppCode Club is a 3 years progressive program. The program is crafted based on 3 fundamental learning blocks: DESIGN. CODE. SELL

Design

Students will learn the basic of creating application interface and designing graphics and icons for their application.

Code

Students will be guided through the use of tools and design framework for the iPhone SDK to create their applications. Once the students are familiar with the basic concepts of creating an application, they will develop applications of their own.

Sell

Students will can learn elements of Innovation & Entrepreneurship by marketing their applications in iTunes Store through their teacher mentor, developing their own online catalogue of applications using a website hosted by Elchemi Education.

Our Support

Annual forums and non-formal networking sessions will be arranged by Elchemi where students and teachers from all schools can come together and showcase their applications or for an exchange of ideas. An online community forum will also be provided as a scaled down developer connection site for students and teachers.
